The Vi Peel

The Vi-Peel is guaranteed to be finest peel you have ever experienced!

The unique blend of ingredients produces powerful results with no pain, no skin preparation, and very little downtime. The VI Precision Peel will:

Benefits:

  • Improve the tone, texture and clarity of your skin
  • Reduce or eliminate age spots, freckles, and hyper-pigmentation, including melasma
  • Soften lines and wrinkles Clear acne skin conditions, reduce or eliminate acne scars
  • Stimulate the production of collagen, for firmer, more youthful skin
  • Treat acne, oily skin, and breakouts

The Vi Peel is associated with 3-7 days of minimal down-time: that is, your skin will be actively peeling for this time period, and others will notice thin layers of skin peeling and sloughing off.

You can continue your normal daily routine (i.e. work, school, exercise, etc) but can not perform activities which will place you in prolonged, direct sun light. During the course of your peels, you will need to protect your skin from all UV exposure, in order to minimize possible adverse reactions and/or enhance your peel results.

After the peel is applies , you will be sent home with a thorough patient instructions manual, and at-home skin care products (included in the price of the peel). The peel solution should remain on your face after your appointment for a minimum of 6 hours, before you wash-off with your cleanser.

How many Vi Peels should I do?
Your clinical provider will recommend the number of Vi Peels you should/can do, and how far apart these peels should be spaced. However, generally speaking, for patients with skin issues (i.e. acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, etc) it is recommended Vi Peels be done in a series of 3 peels, with each peel done every 3 weeks.

Again, every patient case is unique, and therefore a (free) face-to-face consultation is needed to fully address patients' concerns and questions.

What is the Vi "Precision Boost"?

The Vi Peel system includes the option of a boost, which is called "Precision". If you receive your first Vi Peel, and your skin reacts well with no adverse reactions, you will be eligible to "boost" your peels on your subsequent treatments. The Precision Boost is a shot of concentrated peel acids, which is mixed directly into the Vi Peel vial. This will strengthen the effect of the Vi Peel, and lead to more dramatic results. It is never recommended or allowed to boost a patient's very first Vi Peel session.

The Precision Boost is also very effective for non-facial treatment areas, such as back acne or hyperpigmentation on the chest. Please ask the nurse to further explain the properties of the Precision boost during your consultation.

Is the Vi Peel treatment uncomfortable?
The Vi Peel is unique from other peels, in that it has a numbing agent mixed directly into the peel solution. This allows the patient to remain comfortable during the application of the peel. There may be a slight sensation of stinging or heat for a few seconds until the numbing agent takes effect; however after it does, you should feel minimal to no pain at all during the entire treatment. If you do feel slight stinging or heat, the nurse can direct an air fan onto the skin to further cool and calm the skin.

How long dos the treatment take?
The application of the entire Vi peel should last about 15 minutes in duration.
